May the Words of My Mouth

… and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. These were the famous words spoken by King David as he surrendered his life to God. Perhaps I need to do the same, and renew my commitment to Him as well. My God. Who are You and where are You? After my brain surgery, the God in Whom I trusted, and loved more than life became completely unreal to me. I spent hours on google search: “is God real?” “Is Jesus real?” Yes. According to Google, Jesus IS real. He walked the earth. Not enough. Not enough for me! I want more. Whenever I lead Praise & Worship at church, I could “feel” His Spirit. So thick and so tangible. So close to my heart. Enveloping me through every fiber of my being; not only through my bodily flesh; but through my entire spirit. Through every heart beat, through every breath. So tangible… reminding me of an amazing love so vast and so deep. Wrapping my spirit in a celestial cocoon; sheltering me from the world. I need You God.

The Propitiation of my sins, to be nailed on that rugged cross so that I could be made righteous before the Holy Father. An experience too overwhelming for mere words. I “felt” the Spirit through me. Before a congregation of dozens, actually hundreds, the Spirit “moved” me whenever I would lead Praise & Worship. It was a joy unspeakable, unshakeable, and too vast for words. Then post surgery… nothing. Show me You are real.

I continue to plead with Him for faith. I didn’t hear an audible voice or see a Spirit appear before my eyes. Then slowly but surely, God directed my eyes to creation. Ahhh… yes, God, You are right. Psalm 1:119 tells me “the heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” In layman’s terms, this means that SOMETHING cannot be created from NOTHING. Furthermore, the Conservation of Mass tells me that matter cannot be created or destroyed. Well, that rules out the “Big Bang”. Whew, thank God for scientists. Delving in a bit further: Science also tells me that we are the perfect distance from the sun (Like a “goldilocks” zone) – any farther away, we’d freeze; any closer, we’d burn. The moon, placed in the perfect distance from the earth gives the gravitational pull to the earth which influences the Earth’s consistent rotation at approximately 1,000 MPH in the same direction – in a perfect orbit around the sun, never skidding off its axis. The perfect force of gravity that pulls back the ocean waters causing the tides and waves to form. The waves that crash at a certain border and draws back – creating winds that travel across the globe moving the pollen around and falling into new soils. The rain to water the pollen, creating new greens that give us oxygen. The oxygen every living, breathing creature needs for life. Creation in itself is a wonder to behold, so intelligently designed for the welfare and sustenance of human life – God’s crown creation. Darwinism is BS.
